We are very excited at the moment as we’re just gearing up to release a new set of handmade rings – below is one such example – a 4mm swiss blue topaz hand set into a custom made setting and onto a thick chunky silver base. This isn’t the only style we have coming, however, as we also have a chunky silver starfish ring, more beaded cocktail rings (completely handmade) and a few more gem set rings, such as an oregon sunstone ring and Honduran opal ring.
Please allow for the fact that the picture is a quick photo taken with a Nokia mobile and not a proper store photo – the ring isn’t completely polished up yet either, but we just had to show you.
Watch out for similar rings in mixed precious metals next year (for instance, an 18k gold tube top setting on a silver ring base). We love this style – it just screams contemporary. It’s hard to tell from our picture, but the stone is set into a custom made high bezel setting. We chose to make a topaz ring as, of course, it’s the birthstone for next month.
To find out more about our new ring collection, visit our Tumblr blog, where you can also see a small selection of the gemstones we currently have in stock for gem set rings (we’re working on turning the Oregon sunstone into a sunstone ring at the moment and the Honduran opal is also pictured).
