Details of new rings, jewellery sale items and the forthcoming website upgrade!
More hand candy on the way – from plain polished bands through to creatively textured/finished bands, each silver ring will be available as a handmade to order product, whatever your ring size. We love the ‘urban silk’finish on three of the rings pictured above & love the way the matt finish really lends an antique look to a piece (hard to tell from the above photo but the matt finish has been given to the ring on the left). Handmade rings make the perfect gift, to yourself or to a loved one, and we are always on hand to ensure the finished item meets your expectations.
We’re also pleased to announce that within the next couple of months we’ll be unveiling our new fully responsive e-commerce website! It’s still very much in the design phase but we have seen the initial concept and can’t wait for it to go live. The current website will remain active in the interim!
We also have a fabulous Summer Sale on at the moment, so don’t forget to check out the sale bargains, all at an amazing 40% off!
Details of Sugarpuss London’s new ring collections, including handmade to order plain silver rings and wedding rings.
We have been working hard behind the scenes on a new collection of handmade silver rings. We’ve had a fair amount of bespoke ring orders of late (including lots of Russian wedding rings) and sort of went with the flow! We have chunky gemstone cocktail rings coming, as well as these lovely plain silver rings in a choice of finishes – pictured are hammered, tree bark and matt/silk:
All of the new rings will be available in store within the next week or so and we’ll be starting to stock 18k gold rings over the next few months also, however, in the mean time, you can still send us bespoke enquiries for gold rings at email@example.com

SNEAK PEEK: Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Ring & Black Onyx Ring.
We have had these cabochons for around 8 months now and have finally put them to good use. Both rings will be going to the assay office this week (alongside lots of other goodies), so keep checking the site regularly for new items, including diamond earrings and couture pearl pendants.
Details about our new handmade rings and hand set gemstone rings that will start appearing within the next few weeks.
We are very excited at the moment as we’re just gearing up to release a new set of handmade rings – below is one such example – a 4mm swiss blue topaz hand set into a custom made setting and onto a thick chunky silver base. This isn’t the only style we have coming, however, as we also have a chunky silver starfish ring, more beaded cocktail rings (completely handmade) and a few more gem set rings, such as an oregon sunstone ring and Honduran opal ring.
Please allow for the fact that the picture is a quick photo taken with a Nokia mobile and not a proper store photo – the ring isn’t completely polished up yet either, but we just had to show you.
Watch out for similar rings in mixed precious metals next year (for instance, an 18k gold tube top setting on a silver ring base). We love this style – it just screams contemporary. It’s hard to tell from our picture, but the stone is set into a custom made high bezel setting. We chose to make a topaz ring as, of course, it’s the birthstone for next month.
Sugarpuss London are proud to announce that their 2009 collection is now starting to appear, below are just a few of our new arrivals:
This bracelet is one of our favourites – large rare AAA+ baroque pink pearls are twinned with large AA+ – AAA white coin pearls and separated out with incredible rare natural sugilite. The bracelet is finished with sterling silver beads and a circular hook clasp. A weighty Karen hill tribe silver star charm has also been added.
The coin pearls in this bracelet have incredible lustre and rainbow overtones with thick nacre and no chalky patches or pits. The majority of coin pearls on the market sold as AAA don’t even scratch the A+ mark, so please be aware of this when price comparing. The pink baroque pearls used in this bracelet are just as gorgeous, with thick nacre and golden overtones.
As for the sugilite, the rondelles used in this piece are 3mm in size and are hand cut and hand faceted. Sugilite commands a high price because the one and only gem quality source is remote (in the Kalahari Desert near Botswana) and must be mined 3200 feet underground. Sugilite is sometimes known as lavulite, royal azel, and wesselite. The stone is said to have calming properties and to help those suffering from headaches.
Another of our new arrivals is this gorgeous pearl cluster ring, made from peacock black and copper pearls and Hill Tribe silver:
This pearl cluster ring, then, is available via the Sugarpuss London website in Ring Size O. The ring base is an ethically sourced Karen hill tribe silver hammered beading ring that we have then hand pinned the copper and peacock pearls on to using sterling silver headpins. The pearls used in this ring are of AAA quality – all with smooth nacre and very high lustre, shape is off-round.
For a full view of our entire ring collection, which is due to expand again very soon, please see our Rings Department. Sugarpuss London are very proud to have started featuring completely handmade and hand finished sterling silver rings on our site and plan to introduce gem set rings and bangles by the summer.
Finally, we would like to promote our January Sale, which is set to run right up until Valentine’s day.
